Both Wasps and Bath have received a boost with the news that both Willie Le Roux and Francois Louw have been released to play in the Gallagher Premiership this weekend. Neither have been available so far this season.

Wasps travel to the AJ Bell Stadium to take on Sale, who will not have their Springbok scrum half Faf de Klerk, because of an agreement was struck with Director of Rugby Steve Diamond as revealed last month by RugbyPass.

Le Roux also had a special deal with Wasps over his participation - as revealed by RugbyPass - allowing him to feature in three Rugby Championship games and it appears the 36-34 win over the All Blacks in Wellington will be his last of this year's tournament.

Louw will be back for Bath as they host Northampton at the Rec, looking to build on their 37-32 win at Harlequins last weekend.

Eight other players have been released to play in the Currie Cup, Ross Cronje returns for the Golden Lions, the Blue Bulls will have Marco van Staden and Embrose Papier, the Sharks will have Thomas du Toit, while Western Province will be able to call upon four players Wilco Louw, Bongi Mbonambi, Sikhumbuzo Notshe and Damian Willemse.

Although the Blue Bulls have a bye in the Currie Cup, the Pretoria outfit will be in action on Saturday in a friendly match against Namibia in Windhoek.
