A clear favourite to lure Josh Adams back to Wales has emerged - reports

Worcester Warriors' Josh Adams future lies back in Wales, and it appears a clear favourite has emerged in the bid to sign him.
Adams has to return to his native land after the end of his current contract if he is to continue to play for his country. At the end of his contract, if he signs a new deal with Worcester Warriors or joins another club outside of Wales he will become ineligible.
Unsurprisingly, there has been plenty of interest in the try scorer from the Welsh regions. The Dragons have been reported to be interested, while a return to the Scarlets where he was an academy player could also make sense.
However, according to the Worcester News's Geoff Berkeley, Cardiff Blues are favorites to bring the flyer home.

Blues headcoach John Mulvihill and Scarlets' outgoing head coach Wayne Pivac have both verbally expressed interest. Currently the 23-year-old is ranked as the 9th best left winger in the Gallagher Premiership by the RugbyPass Index.
Speaking to RugbyPass in August, Adams said: “Obviously, everyone is aware of the rule. It is what it is, I’m just fully concentrating on starting the season as best as I can for Worcester.
“I’m going to have to cross that bridge when it comes to it and it’s going to be a difficult decision.”
“Worcester took a chance, saw something in me and obviously brought me over the bridge and I’m super, super thankful for that because without Worcester just seeing that little something or giving me that opportunity who knows what I’d be doing right now? I couldn’t.
“So, it is difficult. I’ve made some terrific friends here and I can easily say they’ll be close friends for life now."
Worcester Warriors Director of Rugby, Alan Solomons said of the 6'1, 94kg Adams: “He is a really good rugby player and an extremely dangerous broken-field runner.
The Swansea born Adams debuted at Sixways during the 2016/17 campaign after making his Premiership debut against Bath in September 2016.
The 2017/18 season saw the wing score 17 tries, including 13 in the Premiership as he finished as the league's joint-top try-scorer with 13, a club record.

Obviously a convincing win for the Boks, but they will be disappointed with the scoring efficiency. The general stats are off the charts, with plenty of possession and territory, line breaks, running meters, set piece success etc. But there were long periods without scoring. And specifically the outside backs (Kolbe, Arendse and Fassi) were less productive in scoring tries than you would have expected with the comprehensive core dominance that SA had. Also, the SA bench promised to upgrade a third string front row and third string half-back pairing to something closer to first choice selections, which could have triggered a points fest in the fourth quarter, but that did not materilaize. Additionally the Boks will be disappointed that Wales scored any tries at all.
