A fresh theory has emerged in the case of the missing Levi Davis

Levi Davis, the ex-Bath and Ealing player, could have been kidnapped, according to the latest information received by his family. The 24-old-year was last seen in Barcelona on October 29 and has not been found despite some alleged citings.

A private investigator was hired by the Davis family in December and an interview by Levi’s mother Julie with ITV News has now revealed that could have been kidnapped by a London gang. The revelation followed an anonymous tip-off received a few days ago by the investigator.

Julie Davis said: “The person seemed cagey and didn’t say much other than he thought it was in relation to a gang or some falling out that could go back to 2020. It’s all news to me. I knew Levi had difficulties with some people in Ealing but I didn’t realise it was to this extent, it’s just a bit shocking.”

It is now eleven weeks since Davis, who had lately been playing his rugby for Worthing Raiders, was captured on CCTV leaving The Old Irish Pub in Barcelona. “The breakthrough is important, at least it’s something in the way of news,” continued his mother about the kidnapping theory.

“I have been waiting for however long for something and someone to come forward. It still doesn’t give me closure because we don’t know where Levi is, but at least it’s maybe a step in the right direction.”
