Andy Goode makes shock 'National Fish and Chips Day' admission
Former England fly-half Andy Goode has revealed a secret on Twitter that many people may have already guessed.
Goode took to Twitter today to point out that it is National Fish and Chip Day and Bath fly-half Freddie Burns responded, saying that rugby has ruined such a day for him. Obviously, with matches usually being played on a Saturday, and the demands of rugby to stay in peak physical condition, such pleasures must be forgone.
Not to Goode, however, who responded to Burns by saying “You’ll be shocked mate but rugby never stopped me having Fish and Chip Friday!”
The former Leicester and Wasps fly-half garnered a reputation throughout his career, and after, of perhaps not having the physique expected of an international back, and this diet is an indication why.
