Andy Powell's offer to the Ospreys is the talk of Twitter

An off-the-cuff offer from former Welsh and British and Irish Lions legend Andy Powell to help the Ospreys out has received overwhelming support on Twitter.
The barnstorming No.8 took to social media on Boxing Day to extend his help to the struggling PRO14 side.
The Swansea based club have won just once in nine league outings and currently sit bottom of Conference A in the PRO14. In November the they effectively sacked Allen Clarke as their head coach and drafted in former Six Nations winning coach Mike Ruddock for a 'one month' period.
However, results are yet to turn around. The latest humiliation came on Boxing Day when the Ospreys were nilled 44-0 by Welsh regional rivals Scarlets.
Now Andy Powell wants to help. Since officially retiring in 2015, Powell has gone on to thrive in a burgeoning coaching career.
After taking over as head coach in 2018, Powell steered his local side - Brecon RFC - to glory in the WRU EAST Division 1 league in 2018/19 season. The side also lifted the Plate Final trophy at the Principality Stadium and Powell took to the streets of Brecon in a tractor in a homecoming parade that went viral.
Powell, who is set to appear in a RugbyPass documentary that goes live on January 1st, has now set his sites on coaching at a higher level.
"I would be more than willing to help the ospreys out if they come asking !! I know I’m not everybody’s cup of tea but I will tell you I’m good at coaching !!!!! And I would pull the troops together and trust me you would see results !!!"
His offer was met with overwhelming support on Twitter.
Earlier this month the Ospreys said they were conducting a wide-ranging review of its rugby operation, looking at the coaching set-up and defining what roles are needed in the future.
Ruddock was appointed on a consultancy basis for a month to run the rule over the rugby side of the business.
Some might take it with a pinch of salt, but the Ospreys could do far worse than consider Andy Powell and his offer.

I would go as far as to say they trend towards the Ben Smith style engagement. Utter crap.
I don't think any All Black coach has had a tougher first year than this (so to here that they did that is really poor).
They is of course the sky production, the producer behind the scenes. They select commentators to deliver on that content they're going to provide them with, which means they have to be 'yes' mean. Mills is the A grade yes man. Actually really please Mills seems to be acting stronger, more with his own personality these days, and the game day commentry teams have bee pretty good imo. Bates, Steven, Shields, even that italian player was alright last week.

It was not perfect and at times frustrating. All 3 tests were not the best by the Boks and they still found ways to win.
Rassie would have noted the sloppyness at times and silly mistakes. The 9's made amateur handling mistakes when clearing the rucks in all 3 tests.
Once the "stupid" mistakes are eliminated, this Bok team will be very very hard to beat.
