Another All Black to miss remainder of Championship
All Blacks loose forward Liam Squire will sit the remainder of the Rugby Championship out after sustaining an injury in the side's loss to South Africa on Saturday night.
Squire appeared to have picked up a shoulder injury during the first half of the 36-34 loss but remained on the field until the 59th minute.
The All Blacks announced today that the 27-year-old would miss the rest of the Rugby Championship with to a hand injury.
Squire's injury leaves the All Blacks with Shannon Frizell and Jackson Hemopo as cover, with Scott Barrett and Luke Whitelock also able to fill the No. 6 jersey. Vaea Fifita may also be on the radar following some strong performances for Wellington in the Mitre 10 Cup.
Squire will join prop Joe Moody on the sidelines for the rest of the campaign. Lock Brodie Retallick's status is still up in the air after the star suffered a shoulder injury against Argentina last week, and midfielder Sonny Bill Williams was a late scratch after being sick during the week.
