Bath confirm third contract extension in as many days with Ojomoh deal
Bath have confirmed their third contract extension of the week with centre Max Ojomoh committing to the club until 2027.
The 23-year-old follows in the footsteps of England tighthead Will Stuart and winger Will Muir in penning a new deal with the West Country club.
Ojomoh finds himself in a very similar position to Muir this week, as they have both been called into England's training camp in Girona as cover for their injured Bath teammate Ollie Lawrence and Harlequins centre Oscar Beard.
After signing the new deal with Bath, the former England U20 international said: “I am really chuffed. I have always loved it here, I grew up here, went to school here. It means a lot for my family and I to be able to extend my stay here for the foreseeable future.
“If you look at the progression as a squad over the last three or four years, I think if we keep trending in that direction we will inevitably end up competing and winning things, that’s something I want to be a part of.
“Then personally, the next step would be international honours. I get an opportunity here at Bath to compete against two international centres. If I’m pushing them to be in the team it means I’m pushing to get international honours myself.”
Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan added: “I see some real brilliance in Max, on his defensive side and his attacking side, and I also see a player that’s worked incredibly hard on his game.
“He has forced his way into our 23, he is one of our starting centres and he competes for a place with some very good centres, not only at Bath but in the Premiership. Max has developed and I am very, very happy that Max will be staying at Bath Rugby.”

A lot of haters for this guy. He is a genuinely talented player, and if he commits to being an All Black could challenge for that spot on the bench against Aumua and Taukei'aho.
As for best in the world; Codie Taylor is the best hooker in the world right now. Marx this, Jamie George that, Sheehan who?
