All Blacks call for Tahuriorangi
Chiefs halfback Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi has put himself firmly in the frame for All Blacks selection, receiving an invitation to attend the All Blacks 'Foundation Day' in Wellington.
Tahuriorangi is one of several candidates battling for a halfback spot in the All Blacks side.
The 23-year-old will attend the North Island Foundation Day, where he will mix with All Blacks from the Chiefs, Blues and Hurricanes for a day-long session in preparation for June's three-test series against France.
Tahuriorangi moved north this year after two seasons with the Hurricanes, following his provincial coach with Taranaki - Colin Cooper - to the Hamilton-based Chiefs.
