Blues lose captain for South Africa tour
By Online Editors
Fairfax have reported that Blues captain Augustine Pulu will miss his side's two-game tour of South Africa.
The 28-year-old halfback suffered a foot injury during the Blues' 27-21 loss at the hands of the Chiefs on Friday.
21-year-old Sam Nock will share halfback duties with Jonathan Ruru as the Blues travel to South Africa to take on the Lions and the Stormers.
Two-cap All Black Pulu is in his second season with the Blues, and his first season as captain.
Fortunately for the Blues, Sonny Bill Williams is set to make his return after missing the Chiefs clash with a knee injury.

“While Sotutu should start at No.8 for the All Blacks against England, but it’s only in that arena that he can prove just how good he really is.” And that my friends is where simply hasnt shone despite multiple opportunities. Even in this performance you can see what did him in in the test arena..he almost always still runs at the opposition almost ramrod upright making him easier to stop than it should be.
