Brown admits he tried to battle through pain before season-ending surgery
By Online Editors
Harlequins fullback Mike Brown has said that this was the “right time” to have his season-ending knee surgery, after he had tried to continue playing with it.
The 34-year-old initially sustained the injury during preseason training, but battled through the first few weeks of the season with it. However, he is now expected to be out for six to nine months following the surgery, which of course will end his season prematurely.
