Brumbies sign Australian schoolboy sensation
Exciting Australian Schoolboys and U18 international talent Reesjan Pasitoa has agreed to join the Plus500 Brumbies in 2020 following the completion of his studies at Nudgee College in Brisbane.
The fly half, who played an integral part in the 2018 Australian Schoolboys and U18 tour of Ireland and Scotland, has decided to link with the Plus500 Brumbies to further his rugby development.
Pasitoa is regarded as one of the brightest rugby prospects to emerge in Australia for some time having dominated the GPS competition and starting in the playmaker role for his country.

Having just turned seventeen, Pasitoa is one of the youngest players ever to receive a full Super Rugby contract and joins a youthful and talented Plus500 Brumbies squad which is building for the future as well as the present.
Plus500 Brumbies Head Coach Dan McKellar is looking forward to Reesjan joining to team in 2020. “We are very happy to have an exciting prospect like Reesjan Pasitoa join the Plus500 Brumbies. We started watching Reesjan closely 6 months ago and from day one we were impressed by his skill level, natural instincts and character. ‘’
‘’For a player of such a young age he has a maturity beyond his years, a good kicking game both out of hand and off the tee, good catch pass and importantly he is a genuine threat with the ball. ‘’
‘’We look forward to working closely with Reesjan over the next 12 months whilst he finishes his schooling at Nudgee before arriving at the Plus500 Brumbies fulltime, alongside our other promising developing players at the Brumbies, in seeking to develop further to earn Brumbies Super Rugby selection.’’
A fan-made highlight reel on Pasitoa shows just how much a threat he is on the ball.
Reesjan said about his upcoming move: “I met Dan McKellar and we discussed my rugby and what he liked about me as a player and also where he thought I can improve. I felt comfortable with Dan straight away. He talked to me about the style of rugby he wants the Brumbies to play and I’m excited to have the chance to be involved.
The Brumbies came up with a pathway that I think will help me develop and continue to grow as a player. I think the Brumbies program will help me take my rugby to the next level. It’s an awesome opportunity.”
The signing of the much-coveted Pasitoa is a further commitment from the Plus500 Brumbies to continue to grow and develop young Australian rugby talent in the full squad.
The Plus500 Brumbies begin their 2019 Super Rugby campaign with a home match against the Rebels at GIO Stadium on Friday 15 February 2019.

Jake.....how about you go work for rugby pass and the Bulls get Johan Ackerman to win some trophies......just asking.....
Go to commentsIm not sure Mounga is the missing link. He has been involved the whole period where NZ had "slipped" down to 70%. He is a big part of that happening. I dont believe the BB/Mounga combo ever worked properly as duel playmakers and Id rather see NZ go to guys like Perofeta, Jacomb, Miller, Cameron, Simpson etc before going backwards. They are the future, not guys from the past. Jacomb, Miller and Cameron in particular look to be the future. Pity Miller got injured as he would have been on the ABXV tour.
Samisoni Takiaho will also make a big difference to hooker depth. We would have loved to have him this weekend for sure. It will be great to see Holland come in and I think Frizzell only signed for 2 Japanese seasons so is expected back in june I think.
