Jake White’s team scored nine tries, securing a bonus-point victory which ensured a top-four finish with one game of the regular season left.

It was job done after just 25 minutes as Canan Moodie, David Kriel, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Ruan Nortje claimed touchdowns, with Johan Goosen kicking three conversions.

Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White on Benetton’s threats around the park

Jake White knows that it will be a huge mistake to underestimate a much-improved Benetton side.

Moodie added two more tries to finish with a hat-trick and there were further scores from Kriel, Akker van der Merwe and Johan Grobbelaar, plus another Goosen conversion and a Chris Smith penalty.

Benetton posted scores from Onisi Ratave, Gianmarco Lucchesi, Andy Uren, Toa Halafihi and Marco Zanon, all converted by Rhyno Smith, as a try bonus-point kept them in play-off contention.

Damning image of Lion emerges after series win with major backlash online

Well that is scientifically correct but I've never thought of him as being especially short. He seems to be about the same height as Furlong, fairly average prop size. I think his massive quads give the illusion that he's shorter.

Even though squatting the same weight requires more force for someone with longer levers, his max squat may be significantly higher than some other props. There is a vid of him repping out 230kg for a set of 8 and he's reputed to have a 1RM of 350kg so by anyone's standards, regardless of how short you are, that's very strong.
