Can you guess who this is?
A famous All Black has a fresh new look, all in the name of charity.
Sam Whitelock has gone clean-shaven for the first time in years over the weekend, and in doing so raising $15,000 for a cancer fund formed by former All Blacks logistics manager Kevin 'Chalky' Carr.
Carr was initially diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June 2016. The disease's return prompted the establishment of the Chalky Carr Trust to raise $100,000 for seven-year-old Isla Lunn, whose mother Kellie died of breast cancer.
Whitelock's fearsome beard hadn't been trimmed at all in the 2017 season, which saw him captain the All Blacks in their final test against Wales in Cardiff.
It's likely that it will have grown back to a reasonable length by the time he's seen on the field again when Super Rugby starts in February.

Haha did he always say it in a sarcastic teacher sort of manor or was it the petulant English snob sort of wail?
Go to commentsWell said Mils. It is a big boost at last having Fergus Burke back at 10 for the Crusaders. Had a great season last year as the article says. Mils is also right about captain Codie Taylor’s performance in his return to the Crusaders last week. He was all class.
