Cheetahs charge to comfortable victory over Southern Kings
Cheetahs hooker Joseph Dweba’s first-half double set his side on the way to a comfortable 45-0 win against Southern Kings in Bloemfontein.
The Cheetahs, who snatched a 31-30 win against their South African rivals last week in Port Elizabeth, went 17-0 ahead inside 28 minutes, with Dweba scoring two unconverted tries.
Flanker Chris Massyn also went over and his effort was converted by scrum-half Ruan Pienaar in a dominant opening spell for the home side.
They were reduced to 14 men a minute before half-time, when second row Walt Steenkamp was shown a yellow card.
