Cudmore to be clubless by end of season - reports
Canadian icon Jamie Cudmore could be left searching for a club at the end of the season according to reports coming out of France.
According to Midi Olympique, the president of Aix-en-Provence, Denis Philippon, announced which players and staff are to be kept next season, and the Canadian international is not among them.
Cumdmore (40) arrived at the club last summer as a general manager, after the club had successfully returned to the Pro D2 from the third tier of French rugby.
According to Midi, current Aix-en-Provence backs coach Fabien Cibray is set to become head coach, with former Ireland international James Coughlan - who is currently at Pau - set to join as an assistant coach.
Cudmore is currently taking former club Clermont Auvergne to task in court relating to the apparent avoidable risk he was placed in the 2015 Heineken Cup final after he was sustained a concussion in the preceding semi-final.
The 6'5, 118kg former lock went back onto pitch to replace a teammate in the semi-final despite failing a Head Injury Assessment (HIA) earlier in the game. Cudmore - who had been concussed several times during his career - had suffered severe concussion symptoms following the incident.
Cudmore spoke of his experience with concussion in the RugbyPass documentary - Beyond 80: Knocked, which you can watch below.

To be honest, that's excuses. SA players involved all over 12 months a year. That is not the way to excuse what's happening. There is no replacement for actual fitness, which the English need. In all their games, it was clear that they are not fit enough for 80 min playing. You have to put in the work to get fit. Numbers won't change that. They need the right conditioning and fitness coaches. They rely on a defensive system that requires ultimate fitness. Don't use strategies that counters your abilities. Stop seeking excuses. Also it's a mental thing. They have to break through that mental block. Plenty of rumours around that players and coaches aren't happy with Borthwick. That could just be rumour spreading too, however, where there is smoke, there is usually fire
