Danny Care officially re-called in 36-man England squad for Baa-Baas

Harlequins halfback Danny Care has officially been recalled to England squad for next weekend’s match against Barbarians.
Care is named in the 36-player squad meets today at the Honda England Rugby Performance Centre at Pennyhill Park to prepare for Sunday’s game at Twickenham Stadium, kick off 3pm.
While the Barbarians game is uncapped, the selection of Care has come as something of suprise given that head coach Eddie Jones hasn't selected him in nearly four years. The 35-year-old, who last played in November 2018, has been in rip-roaring form for Harlequins.
Will Collier also returns to the squad and there is a first call-up for Jack Walker. There is no place for fellow Harlequins Joe Marler, who is being omitted for the Barbarians came but who could yet feature on tour in Australia.
Luke Cowan-Dickie - who is nursing a knee injury - will be in camp continuing rehab work.
The squad doesn't include any players from Leicester Tigers and Saracens, who are involved in the Gallagher Premiership Final next Saturday.
Jones said: “This is a strong, diverse squad. There are a lot of exciting, young players and some experienced players who have another opportunity to shine.
“Everyone will be given the chance to make their case for being part of the Australia tour squad while we prepare for the Barbarians.
“The Barbarians game at Twickenham is always a great rugby occasion and we know the fans always have a great day out, watching a really entertaining game.
“We’re looking forward to working hard on the training pitch this week so we’re ready for a fantastic match on Sunday.”

Larry Brown was 63 when he won the NBA, and Phil Jackson was 64.
I guess my general feeling in rugby is that most coaches seem to decline quite a bit when they hit 60, and to be coaching at the top level when you’re 65 or older is extremely rare. Maybe in american sports people have another 5 years, but that doesn’t seem like a massive difference.
Either way, I’m going to stick with my verdict that appointing Les Kiss at age 60 would be ok as a short term deal - but appointing him at 63 and expecting him to last 4 years would be foolish.

I believe the return of inform players like Antonio Shalfoon , Christian Lio-Willie will make a huge difference.Tom Christie, who played so well in his 2 starts and Corrie Kellow will be raring to go. We missed David Havili, the form second five and captain last week, he thankfully will be back soon. But Codie Taylor is a great choice to captain in the mean time in David’s absence.
