From those clips I do not doubt Joseph’s commitment. But how on earth can you learn that position at this level. I am taking very very low hopes into this test. I can foresee some improvement but I just struggle to see us winning.

I don’t see how them winning one or two games a year for the foreseeable will help them. And that's nothing to do with finances. Their win ratio across the last 2 years is 5%.

It could take them a decade to even hit the 20% heights that Italy had in the 00’s and 10’s.

I'd say plenty of French fans would take their team winning the Top 14 and CC over a world cup without a second thought.
