'Disaster for Tuilagi' - centre removed from pitch after yet another injury
Leicester Tigers centre Manu Tuilagi had to be removed from play after just ten minutes of his side's Premiership derby match with Wasps at Welford Road this afternoon.
Tuilagi could be seen clutching what looked like his pectoral muscle following a collision in the seventh minute.
Three minutes later he was replaced by Matthew Tait. Tuilagi looked visibly upset on the sideline.
It is the latest in a long line of injuries to hit the England and Leicester centre, who many were hoping was about to put his injury woes behind him.
BBC Five Lives Paul Grayson described it as a 'disaster for Tuilagi.'
"He's had a litany of horrendous injuries. It's almost as if his body can't cope" the former England pivot said.
Tuilagi visited a witch doctor last Autumn in Samoa where he claims he had three spirit wives removed. He claimed that they had afflicted him and were causing his injury problems.

For those who claim that takes time to develop, the process is to keep the game plan simple at first and add layers as the squad gels and settles in to the new systems. Lack of progress against the rush D, lack of penetration and innovation in the mid-field, basic skill errors and loose forwards coming second in most big games all still evident in game 14 of the season. Hard to see significant measureable progress.
