Dragons sign Wales prop Rob Evans

The Dragons have confirmed the signing of Wales international Rob Evans from the Scarlets.
Evans' surprise departure was revealed by Scarlet earlier this week, with Dragons now confirmed as his destination.
He joins Dean Ryan's side after nine years and over 150 games for the Llanelli based side, where he was a major player of the 2017 league-winning squad. Evans made his international debut against Ireland in 2015 and has since earned 39 caps for his country, including four starts at the 2019 Grand Slam.
“I’m happy to be joining and excited to get going next year," said Evans. “It feels like the right time for a change and, with the other signings and what Dean wants to build here, it will be brilliant and I’m looking forward to it.
“I love playing at Rodney Parade and the fans are really loud and intimidating. I’m looking forward to being a part of it and having them on my side.”
Director of Dragons Rugby Dean Ryan said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming a player of Rob’s calibre to Dragons and excited about the impact he can make with us.
“Rob is highly driven and motivated to help us move forward as a squad. He also still has big international ambitions with Wales that he wants to achieve as a Dragon.”
Evans came through the Scarlets Academy and after playing for Carmarthen Quins in the Welsh Premiership made his senior debut against Sale Sharks in January 2013. He made 156 Scarlets appearances and scored 13 tries.
The frontrower was a member of the side that lifted the Guinness PRO12 title in 2017. He was capped 39 times for Wales.

You sound super upset and sensitive because Perenara spoke out about something you don't like, which is a precious far right-wing party trying to rewrite New Zealand’s founding document to suit a particular political agenda that disenfranchises the indigenous people and wants to eradicate their culture through assimilation and domination. Your perspective is skewed tbh. Your comment about Perenara being "super woke" shows your fragility and xenophobia. Maybe the All Blacks should stop doing any haka so that Maori culture isn't displayed for financial benefits and entertainment. Do you know what the other players in the team think? Are they your mates and you rang them straight after the game to get their thoughts? How did the Hurricane Poua debacle go? Any sponsors pull out yet???
