England international Alex Lozowski is staying at Saracens, having signed a new contract at the club.

This season he has been most often used by Saracens at 13, but is equally happy at standoff or fullback.

“I’m delighted to be staying at Saracens for what will be a very exciting period for the club.

"Playing for this team in front of our supporters means a lot to me so it’s brilliant to be able to continue and I’m really looking forward to what the future holds.”

The 28-year-old who has won five caps for England and ha played 117 times for Sarries. He earned a first England international call-up to the England squad in October 2016 before ultimately earning his debut on the tour to Argentina the following summer.

He hasn't played for Eddie Jones England team since 2018, but at 28 remains in the hunt for future caps.

Saracens Director of Rugby Mark McCall described it as a boost for the north London club.

“We are thrilled Alex has committed his future to Saracens. He is one of those rare players who excel in a number of positions and his versatility has been invaluable so far this season. Loz has played a key role in a number of the club’s biggest games down the years and he will continue to be a central part of our group going forward.”
