England add star to Portugal training camp
England have made an addition to their squad for the Ireland Test.
The England men’s squad will depart for Portugal tomorrow to begin preparations to play Ireland in their opening Guinness Six Nations match in Dublin on 2 February 2019.
Bath's Jonathan Joseph has been added to the squad having proved his fitness at the weekend playing for his club. A match day squad of 25 will travel to Dublin on Thursday 31 January.
On England’s first opponents in the tournament, he said: “Ireland is the best side in the world. They are a very well coached and drilled side and have particular things they do well in the game.
"To beat Ireland, we need to compete brutally in all the contest areas of the game.”

Couple of things BS missed: wind was behind the Baby Blacks in the first half. Baby Boks got points from a scrum penalty in the final quarter against this ‘dominant pack’, and left three points on the park after a missed penalty.
