Everyone is making the same joke about Richie McCaw's corronation cameo

Richie McCaw had the honour of representing his country at the coronation of King Charles III in London. However, as soon as pictures of him at the event at Westminster Abbey surfaced online, social media users couldn't resist making the same joke about the famous flanker's appearance.

McCaw was in attendance as a recipient of the prestigious Order of New Zealand and his cameo saw him subjected to the same old quips about his rugby playing days.

Many accounts couldn't resist making the same joke, some variation of McCaw having probably come in from the side of the church, alluding to his reputation for pushing the boundaries at the breakdown.

McCaw led the All Blacks as captain in an impressive 110 out of 148 test matches, securing two Rugby World Cup victories. His unmatched talent and skills earned him the World Rugby Player of the Year award an impressive three times, making him a joint record holder. From August 2015 to October 2020, McCaw held the title of being the most capped test rugby player of all time.

To top off his incredible career, McCaw was awarded the World Rugby Player of the Decade award for his exceptional performance between 2011 and 2020. He was also honoured with the New Zealand Sportsman of the Decade award, recognizing his immense contributions to the sport and to his country.
