Harrogate Rugby Club have confirmed that former England international Dan Scarborough is taking over the role of head coach at the club, succeeding Sam Fox.

After a two-season term, Fox bids adieu to coaching duties while embarking on new coaching endeavours with Pocklington School and the Yorkshire Academy.

The club have expressed both gratitude for Fox's service and eagerness for his continued involvement as a player for the upcoming 2023/2024 season, where he'll be aiming to achieve the milestone of 100 caps.

Now Scarborough, a seasoned figure in the rugby world, takes over at the reins at the club.

With an illustrious career that saw him don the jerseys of Leeds Tykes, Racing 92, Saracens, and the England national team, Scarborough brings a wealth of experience and an insider's perspective on the game.

He retired in 2013, having won two caps for England.
