Exeter sign up three more for 2019/20
After starting the season with statements that the club may not be able to contract up all their key players for the 2019/20 season, Exeter Chiefs have taken another big step towards doing just that.
The club recently announced contract extensions for Luke Cowan-Dickie, Jack Nowell and Henry Slade, with the three England internationals committing to new two-year deals with the Devon-based side.
Exeter have also announced the signing of Scotland and British and Irish Lions full-back Stuart Hogg, with the Glasgow Warriors player set to take the place of Santiago Cordero at the club, with the Argentine heading to Bordeaux in the Top 14.
Three more names have no been added to that growing list of players set to be part of the Chiefs' 2019/20 campaign, with Phil Dollman, Ollie Devoto and Olly Woodburn all agreeing to new deals at the club.
Dollman, who has been a stalwart of the club for 10 seasons now, has committed to a one-year contract. The 33-year-old has made over 220 appearances for Exeter during his time at the club and was Rob Baxter's first signing as Director of Rugby, joining from the Dragons in 2009.
Devoto, 25, has put pen to paper on a two-year extension, with the versatile centre also recently celebrating a return to the England squad. Devoto joined Exeter from Bath in 2016 and though opportunities have been slightly limited by injuries and the form of Exeter's other midfield options, he has still managed to make over 50 appearances for the club, as well as clearly doing enough to impress England head coach Eddie Jones.
Woodburn, another to join the club from Bath, has also agreed to two-year deal. The 27-year-old has been one of Exeter's most consistent performers since his move in 2015 and could find himself in a back three with Hogg and Nowell next season, after having injuries mar his 2018/19 campaign thus far.

On very thin ice there. I can still recall Frank Bunce , Alama Ieremia, Tuigamala and the Bachops playing for both PI's and NZ in their Test careers! They were interchangeable.
Most guys at this level now are multi-qualified.
And much of Lowe's development as a player occurred at Leinster, so why wouldn't Ireland profit from it?
