Fantasy Rugger: Picking my 1st XV
Fantasy Rugger is here on Rugby Pass, and we want all of of you to join us in what will be a fantastic addition to The Rugby Championship. It's free to play and really easy to get set up. In fact, Jamie Wall managed to do it all by himself:
Here's my starting XV for my team, Beaudy's Kicking Boots:
As you can see, I've gone for a mix of all of the Rugby Championship sides. Why? Because I think the Springbok/Pumas match will be a bit of a shootout, so players are going to be able to rack up a few attacking points in that one.
My key man is, of course, Beauden Barrett. He's rocks and diamonds when it comes to kicking, so I'm just hoping he wakes up on the right side of bed on the day of the test.
Codie Taylor has been named to replace Dane Coles, so I've put him in my team. Looking back at the Lions series, Taylor was given a lot of ball and used in basically the same role Coles has. He even got a try in the first test.
So there's my starting XV, reckon you can do better?

Very good point. I think the CO2 cost of international sport is a big taboo today (and it doesn't look like it'll change anytime soon unfortunately for all humans).
Regarding your second point, I fully agree as well. We have seen this very one-eyed backlash of the French policy on the July tour, most people refuse to see that the best SA players are suffering from the exact same problem : accumulated fatigue from playing too much without significant breaks. The Boks and the Argentinians played the world cup, the URC/Top14/Premiership, the July series, the Championship, etc, etc, with almost no compulsary resting period. This has to change, for the sake of the players, and in fine for the sake of the sport !
