Former Ireland flyhalf Ian Madigan has called time on his rugby career after 14 years as a professional.
Madigan, who began his Leinster journey in 2009, accumulated an impressive total of 147 appearances for his hometown team, during which he contributed 827 points.
Madigan's rugby career then led him to Bordeaux for a single season in 2016, where he became one of Irish rugby's highest-paid players before he made the transition to the Bristol Bears, where he featured in 50 matches between 2017 and 2020.
In the 2008/09 season, he represented Ireland U-20s, before making his senior international debut for Ireland in 2013.
Throughout his time wearing the green jersey, he earned 31 international caps and notched up 121 points, establishing himself as a central player in the 2015 Rugby World Cup squad. In total, he was capped 32 times by Ireland.
In 2020, Madigan returned to Ireland, this time joining Ulster.
