Glasgow Warriors reveal luckless Hogg to go under the knife again

Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg could be in a race to be fit in time for the November internationals.
Glasgow Warriors have confirmed that he will have surgery on his ankle which his club say "will rule him out for a number of Glasgow Warriors upcoming matches".
The two-time Six Nations Player of the Year picked up the knock in Glasgow's 25-10 PRO14 win over Munster on September 7th, a match in which he scored a try, two conversions and a penalty.
He had travelled to South Africa last week for the two matches against Cheetahs and Southern Kings, but has failed to shake off the injury.
A scan has subsequently revealed that the 26-year-old needs surgery with the Warriors stating "the exact timescale for how long he'll be out won't be known until after the operation".
It's unlikely he'll be back in time for their Champions Cup matches against Saracens and Cardiff Blues next month.
Scotland play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on November 3rd, followed by a trio of matches at Murrayfield against Fiji, South Africa and Argentina.
Hogg's injury is the latest blow for Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend, prop Zander Ferguson is unlikely to feature until 2019, after he fractured his leg playing for the Warriors against the Cheetahs at the weekend. Captain John Barclay is also out for the majority of the 2018/19 season.
On Tuesday Hogg tweeted "Gutted for @ZanderFagerson picking up an injury. Big fella started the season in a great way. Speedy recovery pal. Pretty frustrated to be heading home today. Another challenge to get the ankle sorted & get back fit. Thanks for the support."
Hogg hasn't had much luck with injury of late, his tour with the British and Irish Lions in New Zealand ended because of a facial fracture, he had shoulder surgery later that summer which ruled him out for a number of months, while he picked up a hip injury during the November internationals last season, but made it back in time for the start of the Six Nations.

Sheesh Goldie, South Africa actually lost two tests, IRE & ARG. Everyone got beaten at least twice this year so I'm not sure why the Boks are the "standard". I'd hate the ABs to follow their example. Our standard should be ABs (version 2015).
But I agree, the ABs are definitely in the B range. For me, it's a B+, the + mainly reflecting the lifting of the teams baseline from wobbly to now comfortably being able to win ugly.
Bring on 2025.
