JvG prefers to pair Beno Obano at loosehead, with TdT at tighthead as his 1st choice options but has quite a lot of flexibility with Van Wyk & TdT as alternative options at loosehead, with Will Stuart, Archie Griffin & Billy Sela at tighthead.

I think TdT was the best prop in the Premiership last season and has certainly improved the other players around him since he has joined the club.

It’s a tricky balance but I do fear that Borthwick over values experience and why he would likely play him at the expense of the pathway.
