Happy birthday to Jaguardo, Super Rugby's best mascot
On behalf of everyone at Rugby Pass: Feliz cumpleaños, Jaguardo!
Mascots from around the Super Rugby universe are coming together on social media to wish Jaguares mascot Jaguardo a happy birthday.
In a post to his Twitter account earlier this week, Jaguardo revealed that it was his birthday on Sabado, or Saturday.
Queensland Reds mascot Rusty the Koala was the first to wish him a happy birthday.
Wolvy, the Sunwolves new mascot introduced earlier this year, sent his birthday wishes in both Japanese and Spanish.
Cheetah, the Cheetahs mascot, printed out a sign especially.
Lions mascot Mufasa recorded a video message for Jaguardo, which was translated into English by a real life Doctor Dolittle: "Good day Jaguardo. Mufasa, the king of Emirates Airline Park, says happy birthday, and wishes you well for the next year."
Waratahs mascot Tah Man sent greetings from Sydney.
The Kings, who don't have a mascot, got Lionel Cronje to record a birthday message instead.
Finally, better late than never, Hurricanes mascot Captain Hurricane sent Jaguardo belated birthday wished on Monday morning.
Here is a photo of the birthday boy last year, riding a zipline above Estadio José Amalfitani holding lit smoke bombs in his paws.

The New Zealand performance in the return fixture in 2016 was filthy. A lot of Irish supporters were pretty shocked by it, viewed it as de facto cheating just to avoid another defeat.
Also shocked by the abuse to Ireland, captain, vice-captain and spectators after the full time whistle in Paris defeat, last match.
Sledging is sledging, but that happens during the game and targetting spectators should be completely out of bounds.
The Irish public used to enjoy these matches, even in defeat. Now they are necessary but unpleasant, because NZ apparently cannot accept or respect successful challengers.
Go to commentsThanks for the analysis Nick, thought provoking as usual. Couple of queries though, in the pic where you've circled Williams bind , I'm pretty sure it shows Stuart's knee on the ground, surely that's a NZ penalty? Also having had the chance to watch it again the All Black scrum seeems to improve after halftime, but before either England or the All Blacks replace their props. Not sure if that was the result of Tuipolutu coming on or some halftime tips. Either way this is only Williams second international season, so he'll be better for the experience.
