Harlequins fans fancy their chances against Sarries after stacked starting XV named
Harlequins fans have a lot to be confident about at the moment. Not only are they sitting in third place in the Gallagher Premiership with five wins out of their last six games, but they have made a staggering 12 signings this week ahead of next season.
However, they travel to the London Stadium to take on league champions Saracens on Saturday, which is always a demanding test. But with a number of players returning from injury and international duty, the Quins fans are quite confident in their team going into this fixture, describing this as the best team that has been put out this season.
Danny Care’s return from injury is a huge boost, but the biggest inclusion may be Kyle Sinckler, who is returning after a hugely impressive Six Nations campaign with England, and will undoubtedly make an impact.
This is what the fans are saying:
Saracens are certainly not an easy game, but while the Quins fans feel this is the strongest side they can put out, Sarries are lacking some of their star names. Owen Farrell is rested for this match, as is George Kruis after the Six Nations. Alongside the injured Mako Vunipola and Maro Itoje, the champions are under strength.
However, with the option to play Alex Goode at fly-half, as well as being able to play Nick Isiekwe and Will Skelton as a second-row partnership, they still are not lacking in quality. Added to the returning international stars like Liam Williams, Billy Vunipola, Jamie George and Sean Maitland, and the Quins fans rightfully know that they have a game on their hands.
This is an important game for Paul Gustard’s men, not only to keep the pressure on Saracens in second place in the Premiership, but to stave of competition for a top four place from the teams below them. However, it is clear that Quins have the backing from their fans ahead of this match.

I thought you meant in europe. Because all of the reasons theyre different I wouldn't correlate that to mean for europe, as in french broadcasters pay two or three times as much as the UK or SA broadcasters do, like they do for their league.
With France, it's not just about viewers, they are also paying much more. So no doubt there will be a hit (to the amount the French teams receive for only playing a fraction of it) but they may not care too much as long as the big clubs, the top 8 for example, enter the meaty end, and it wouldn't have the same value to them as the top14 contract/compensation does. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the 3 separate networks broadcast deals only went to the clubs in their regions as well (that's how SR ended up (unbalanced) I believe).
