'I am seething about the comments' - Baa-Baas' boss considering legal action

Barbarians president John Spencer has said he is considering legal action against two internationals after comments in the aftermath of the cancellation of their game against Samoa.
The invitational side, coached by Dave Rennie were due to meet the Pacific islanders at Twickenham in London but the match was called off just 90 minutes before kick-off because of the outbreak in the Baa-Baas' squad.
It was reported the positive cases covered Barbarians players and staff from Australia, Japan and South Africa.
Dylan Hartley said that the cancellation was 'beyond embarassing' and former Wales flyhalf Jonathan Davies said it was an 'utter shambles and disgrace'. It is the second Barbarians match in a row in Twickenham cancelled at the 11th hour due to Covid-19 related issues in the camp.
Spencer is furious.
'I am seething about the comments of Jonathan Davies and Dylan Hartley," Spencer told Chris Jones in The Times. "We are accused of being disorganised and a shambles and our main concern is to ensure there is no long-term harm to the Barbarians. As a lawyer I am seriously considering our [legal] position on this and it is in my mind.
"We could not have been more careful this time and the players have been more than responsible. The team and management were tested every day and we also had PCR tests on Friday and we had a team ready to go onto the pitch that was Covid free."
Welsh great turned pundit Davies said: 'This is an utter shambles and disgrace. They have promoted the game and Samoa pulled out all the stops to get here without their full-strength squad, ironically, due to Covid restrictions some could not travel. And now this! They get all this way here and it is called off so close to kick-off. It’s not good enough.
'After the shambles of last year too when some of the Barbarians broke the bubble and had to be replaced, it is unforgivable.'
The Barbarians have said they had a fit 23 to take the pitch but that the decision was taken out of their hands by Public Health England and the Professional Game Testing Oversight Group.
"Due to six confirmed Covid-19 cases in the Barbarian’s men’s team (four players and two members of staff), the Professional Game Testing Oversight Group has advised that the fixture scheduled to be played against Samoa at 2.30pm today is unable to proceed," the RFU said in a statement. 'We appreciate that this is an extremely disappointing situation for the many fans due to attend, but the safety of all members of both teams is our priority.'
Ticket holders were refunded.

VERIFIED CRYPTOCURRENCY RESTORATION/FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY.
As a designer, I’m always on the lookout for new tools to improve my workflow. So, when I saw an ad on LinkedIn for a “revolutionary” design software, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. The ad promised to streamline my design process with amazing features at an unbeatable price. Without a second thought, I clicked the link and made the purchase. But soon after buying the software, I realized it was a scam. The software never worked as promised, and when I tried to reach out for support, the company vanished without a trace. I was left feeling frustrated and powerless. 5,000 NZD, a significant amount for anyone, especially a freelancer, was gone, and there was no way to get it back… or so I thought. I was at a loss for what to do next. That’s when I discovered FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY. At first, I wasn’t sure if they could help. Could anyone actually recover money lost to online scams? But, desperate and with no other options, I decided to reach out. I contacted FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY, they explained the process in detail, reassured me that they would do everything in their power to recover my funds, and kept me updated every step of the way. To my amazement, just two days after I reached out, they successfully recovered 4,800 NZD of the 5,000 NZD I had lost. The relief I felt when I saw that money back in my account was indescribable. It was like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Since then, I’ve made it a point to share my experience with other designers in the community. I want to raise awareness about the scams that are out there and remind others to be cautious when browsing for new software. Scammers can target anyone, even professionals like us. But I also want to let fellow designers know that if they do fall victim to fraud, they don’t have to give up. FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY is there to help. Now, I always tell others: Be skeptical of ads that seem too good to be true, especially on platforms like LinkedIn. But if you do get scammed, there’s hope. Don’t hesitate to contact FOLKWINEXPERTRECOVERY(at)TECH-CENTER. CO M, (WhatsApp): +1 (740)705-0711. They helped me get my money back in just two days, and they can help you too.

Go to commentsAs a seasoned entrepreneur, I prided myself on due diligence. But when an associate introduced me to a "high-yield crypto platform" backed by polished presentations and fake regulatory licenses, I let my guard down. The platform promised 25% monthly returns through "algorithmic trading." I poured in $775,000 USDT, For months, the dashboard showed soaring profits. Then, the withdrawal requests stalled. Excuses turned to silence. The platform’s domain expired. My heart sank: I’d been ensnared by scam. The loss was paralyzing. My family’s future hung in the balance.
