In-form Andrew Conway among trio to re-sign for Munster

Andrew Conway has signed a three-year deal to stay at Munster until at least July 2023.
The Ireland winger has been a first-choice in the new Andy Farrell era, starting in the recent Guinness Six Nations wins over Scotland and Wales and being selected to again wear the No14 jersey versus England next Sunday at Twickenham.
In total he has played 20 times for his country, scoring ten tries including the score that clinched Ireland’s try bonus point in the win over the Welsh last time out. He was also top Irish try-scorer at the recent World Cup, scoring in each of his three games.
From Leinster, he has made 124 appearances for Munster since a September 2013 debut against Zebre.
Conway wasn’t the only contract renewal for the PRO14 club on Thursday as Billy Holland and Jeremy Loughman also agree extensions.

The most senior squad member with 226 caps, 34-year-old Holland penned a one-year deal while Loughman has agreed a two-year deal.
Coach Johann van Graan said: "Retaining the services of Andrew, Billy and Jeremy is again great news for Munster and for our plans for the future.
“They are a quality trio that all add huge value to our squad with their own individual skill-sets and experience. It’s another huge boost for the province."

3) should be longer than that. Make the residency rule 7 years+. Should be almost near impossible for full fledged professionals developed in one nation playing for another. James Lowe, Gibson-Park the classic ridiculous examples. I don’t even like the ancestry thing like Brad Shields (although that would wreck the islands). If you go at 18/19 like a Cunningham-South or Dylan Hartley type then that’s not as bad, you’ve come through the new nation’s academy / development system.
