Jarvo 69 strikes again, this time at the Aviva Stadium

Serial pitch invader Daniel Jarvis - AKA Jarvo69 - has struck again, this time at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Jarvis made a splash last weekend by lining up alongside the All Blacks during New Zealand's national anthem prior to kick-off in the their match with Wales at the Principality Stadium.

This week it was the security at the Aviva that were left red-faced with the prankster lining up for several seconds during Japan's anthem, making a significant cameo during the live broadcast stream on Channel 4 and Amazon Prime.

He was soon rumbled and duly escorted off the pitch.

While it's the second rugby union match in a row for Jarvis, the 15-man code is just the latest sport he's pranked, having made appearances during NFL and cricket matches.

Johnny Sexton captained Ireland on his 100th Test appearance for his country as Japan visited Dublin.

Fly-half Sexton became the seventh Irishman to reach the milestone, following in the footsteps of Brian O’Driscoll, Ronan O’Gara, Rory Best, Paul O’Connell, John Hayes and current team-mate Cian Healy.

Head coach Andy Farrell named a strong starting XV containing 12 Leinster players for the first of three autumn internationals on successive weekends at the Aviva Stadium.

There was also a landmark appearance for prop Tadhg Furlong, who reached 50 Ireland caps.

Ireland, who also host New Zealand and Argentina in the next fortnight, ditched their traditional green jerseys for the game in favour of a purple alternative.
