'I've not made my mind up about anything yet, to be honest' - Edwards
Shaun Edwards, who was announced as the next Wigan Warriors head coach last August, surprised everyone following the Guinness Six Nations when he admitted that he had not put pen to paper with the Super League club.
Edwards, 52, stated then that his future might not be in rugby league and that he could still stay in union, should the right opportunity arise.
Currently Wales' defence coach, Edwards is contracted to the WRU until after the Rugby World Cup and although many assumed he would be returning to his former side in rugby league, that now seems to be becoming less and less sure.
Speaking to Press Association Sport today, Edwards shed little further light on his possible destination.
"I've not made my mind up about anything yet, to be honest."
Obviously it's been a very busy time with the Six Nations. I haven't made my mind up where I'm going yet."
There's moving your family obviously and kids being in school and stuff like that. So there's a lot of things to consider."
Edwards turned out over 460 times for Wigan back in his playing days, although that is not the only reunion that is on the cards for the defence coach, with Wasps, the first side he coached in union, also believed to be interested in bringing him back into the fold. A win over Worcester Warriors eased fears that they could be drawn into the relegation battle, but it's been a disappointing season for Dai Young's side and the opportunity to bring in a coach of Edwards' calibre would be appealing.
Leicester Tigers are also believed to be interested in Edwards, with the former giants of English rugby having conceded more tries and points than any other side in the Gallagher Premiership this season and in desperate need of defensive help. The RFU have been linked with Edwards, too, with John Mitchell's contract set to expire after the Rugby World Cup and Steve Borthwick the only member of the current coaching set-up inked in for the long-term.
Should Edwards opt not to take up the role with Wigan, there is likely to be no shortage of suitors for his signature.

No just because the personal is much better than last year. I've shown no antagonism of Crusader players, you must be confusing me with someone else.
I have critized Razor for picking players he knows occasionally?
I said I'm not surprised because of his style, he's more a grinder player like Cane, not going to show up on peoples radar until you see how bad the other choices are. This year players like Clarke have been on fire and just show a bit more.
Are you one of those posters continually taking it easy on Razor because he doesn't have his Crusaders stars available? Do you think the rugby world is going to up to him suddenly once Mo'unga returns? lol

The last recent and decent Aussie coach was Ewen McKenzie, he was undermined and forced out by a couple of slimy Aussie players who were given a free pass when they should have been disciplined.
So our history since McQueen is very checkered and it seems to make little difference whether we have an Aussie coach or a Kiwi coach. The players have been entitled for a long time and we had to hit bottom to get them back into reality and to stop thinking it is all about them.
Cheika was an OK coach but his 'go our and destroy the opposition' tactic worked for a while and then didn't.
Please give me a list of great Aussie coaches that I have missed.
