Rugby World Cup Japan city guide - Fukuoka
By RugbyPass
In the first of our Rugby World Cup city guides, Jaybor Staunton visits the prefecture of Fukuoka, which sits on the northern shore of Japan’s Kyushu Island.
Famous for it's shrines, great food and nightlife, there is plenty to see and do in Fukuokoa. Jaybor takes us on a Yanagawa River cruise, before sampling some local specialties and as well as getting a run-out in the 22k seater Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium.
Fukuoka will play host to Ireland, Italy, France, Samoa and USA during the Rugby World Cup 2019, so if you're visiting for a game, be sure to make the most of this stunning part of Japan.
With thanks to Fukuoka Prefecture
