Marler's tweet highlights how he can't wait to get stuck back into Test rugby

After coming out of international retirement on Thursday and being named in England’s World Cup training squad, Joe Marler has taken to Twitter to explain how he is looking forward to “giving it another crack”.
The loosehead prop retired from England duty at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, citing the stress that it puts him under.
But with the World Cup finals in Japan now in the horizon, the 59-cap international has come out of retirement and said he can’t wait to get back into the England fold.
In his absence over the past year, England have struggled with his position. Mako Vunipola missed the entire autumn and much of the Six Nations through injury.
Ben Moon, Ellis Genge and Alec Hepburn were all used, but no one adequately served as a replacement for the Saracens prop like Marler used to do.
With Vunipola still recovering from surgery on his damaged hamstring, Marler’s return will ease a bit of pressure on Eddie Jones.
The Australian would have been fretting as to what he would do should the 2017 British and Irish Lions duo of Vunipola and Marler be unavailable for the World Cup.
Marler will join his fellow prop and Harlequins team-mate Kyle Sinckler in the England squad as the only two players to be selected from a surprisingly sparsely represented Paul Gustard team.
Experienced Quins such as Chris Robshaw, Danny Care and Mike Brown were overlooked, as were the upcoming Alex Dombrandt, Marcus Smith and Joe Marchant.
Some of the club’s fans are taking positives out of this and are looking forward to having many of their star players available from the beginning of next season.
They won’t have Marler, though, as his return to international rugby is one of the main developments in the England squad with many Test rugby fans looking forward to his return as much as he is.

This France team is as good as they were when they went into the World Cup as favorites. Have gone through a rebuild of confidence and rediscovered that form.
Neither England nor Ireland will trouble this team in the 6N. That’s my prediction.
And I guess about time too. Considering that France has won but one 6N title in 6 seasons despite being the best French team for generations thriving off the platform which is the Top 14.
They must just beware of peaking too soon and going to Australia over confident.
Which is also why I thinks it’s absolutely bonkers that France isn’t sending there best players to New Zealand next year. Yes, it isn’t Australia, but getting some SH travel experience makes more sense than not.
Go to commentsI'm not meaning to criticise the players, it's a professional game, this is their livelihood so all power to them. I am aiming criticism at the selectors. Italy is the perfect opportunity to give players of the future a game such as Lakai, Love etc. There is a finite number of tests until the next world cup to develop the team, we are wasting one today.
