Larmour ruled out of Ireland's Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup games
Ireland head coach Andy Farrell will have to plan without Jordan Larmour for the upcoming Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup fixtures after Leinster confirmed the 23-year-old is set to undergo a procedure on a dislocated shoulder. Leinster's latest injury update doesn't make for pretty reading for Farrell, with further bad news regarding Ryan Baird and Max Deegan.
Larmour will have a procedure this week after dislocating a shoulder in the Pro14 win over Benetton on Saturday. Leinster hope to have a clearer idea of his return date after the surgery, but confirmed he will be unavailable for Ireland's upcoming internationals.
Baird, who was last week named in Farrell's 35-man squad for Ireland's two remaining Six Nations fixtures, was also forced off during the Benetton game with an adductor strain, and will be further assessed by the Leinster medical team this week.
Meanwhile Deegan will be out of action for a number of months after having a procedure on an ACL knee injury sustained against Dragons earlier this month.
Leinster have also confirmed that Tadhg Furlong will remain under the supervision of the Leinster Rugby S&C and medical team this week as he recovers from a calf issue. Furlong has yet to feature since the rugby restart in August.
Ireland captain Johnny Sexton (hamstring), Rónan Kelleher (quad) and Andrew Porter (hamstring) will all be assessed by the IRFU medical team this week.

Good summation Ned. Agree the Canes were out-muscled for once (except at the scrum!) by a focused Brumbies outfit. Tua deserves consideration for higher honors after the way he humbled Jordie and the Canes defense. Thankfully, his lack of eligibility for Oz keeps him from Joe’s plans. While I also agree the injuries affected the Canes performance, some players seemed to lack focus and intensity for this match. Perhaps after the Blues demolished the Brumbies, they thought it was going to be easy? A good reminder that any slip up in preparation can have a big affect on the result. Brumbies deserved that win.
