Leicester issue statement after players allegedly involved in pub brawl in Portugal

Leicester have issued a statement after it was alleged that a number of their players were involved in an altercation at an Irish pub in Portugal on Monday night.
The Tigers squad are currently attending a warm-weather training camp at Vilamoura on the Algarve. A Daily Mail newspaper report claimed it had seen footage showing men - thought to be security staff - hitting members of the Tigers squad.
They responded by bursting into a seating area outside where glasses were thrown back and forth and these exchanges reportedly resulted in club skipper Tom Youngs being left with a facial wound. Local police were then called.
Head coach Geordan Murphy apparently visited the pub following the incident and also spoke to police. It is believed he was left satisfied that there was no case to answer and that no player will be facing any charges.
A Leicester Tigers statement said: “The players made us aware of an incident when they were given a night off during a training camp in Portugal.
"The club have co-operated fully with the relevant authorities and, while we believe this is the end of the matter, we will take further action if appropriate.”

It’ll be very interesting to see how Razor’s AB’s handle the new England rush D. It’s basically the Bok recipe they copied, so if England goes well then we know most likely the Boks will go well too. If England cops a hiding then we’ll have to study and adapt.
