There's been a fresh twist in the Leinster 'visa issues' saga
Leinster rugby have today confirmed that both Gibson-Park and Nacewa have today applied for the visa required for New Zealand nationals entering South Africa from the Embassy in Dublin.
The pair will still miss tomorrow afternoons fixture with the Southern Kings but will rejoin the squad in Cape Town on Sunday in the run up to next Friday nights fixture against the Cheetahs.
In a statement from Leinster Rugby released yesterday: “As of 16 January 2017 a visa is required for New Zealand nationals entering South Africa.
“Unfortunately this visa was not applied for by Leinster Rugby on behalf of Jamison Gibson-Park and Isa Nacewa in advance of the squad leaving Dublin Airport on Tuesday afternoon. It was only brought to our attention upon landing into Johannesburg on Wednesday morning that this was now a requirement.
“This was clearly an administrative oversight on our part and a valuable lesson has been learned.

He's not as good as Feyi-Waboso or Freeman, and he might be behind Roebuck and Sleightholme in the pecking order. Behind them Hendy and Elliott are probably at a similar level to Arundell.
