Mark Telea re-signs with New Zealand Rugby
The incredible form of Mark Telea was rewarded with another All Blacks selection on Sunday and the Blues winger has now confirmed his playing future for the next two years will be in New Zealand.
Telea has signed with the Blues and New Zealand Rugby and will remain with club and country until at least 2025. The 26-year-old's signing was announced Friday, to the delight of Blues and All Black fans.
Telea's form in 2023 has been second to none in terms of right wingers and his stats prove it, equalling Doug Howlett's Blues record for tries in a season (12) while leading the competition in clean breaks (24) and defenders beaten (101).
Telea was also named Blues Player of the Year as well as Players Player of the Year at the annual Blues Awards.
