Moody: England should be wary of Scotland threat
Lewis Moody believes a resurgent Scotland pose a real threat to England's hopes of back-to-back Six Nations glory.
Scotland travel to Twickenham in the next round of fixtures on the back of impressive victories over Ireland and Wales at this year's championships.
Stuart Hogg has been in fine form in those opening rounds with 30 points to his name - including three tries - while Tim Visser proved to be their match-winner against Wales.
However, England will be a very different test for Vern Cotter's side. Eddie Jones' men can tie New Zealand's record of 18 consecutive Test wins with victory over Scotland and have a three-point cushion at the top thanks to a bonus-point triumph over Italy.
But Eddie Jones' men must ensure complacency does not drift into their game, according to Moody, who has warned Scotland are in prime condition to take full advantage of any opportunities.
"The Scottish could pose a real conundrum," the former England international told Omnisport.
"If they can get rid of their hoodoo that seems to follow them at Twickenham, when they are at Murrayfield they are a different entity, if they can front up and believe in themselves then they can cause England some real problems as they've got some exciting players at the moment.
"There's a load of payers who are pushing hard, Scotland have got some strength in depth which we've rarely seen in the past."

The prem games this season have mainly been great to watch , with the exception of Sale. So boring and predictable.
Let's have more of Bristol, Bath , Quins etc style of play.
Rugby needs expansive play to put more bums on seats . Not the dirge of rolling forward mauls constantly trying to bully their way over the line.
It has its place yes to draw the defence but the fans want to see more running rugby . Not win at any cost and sod the entertainment .
So Borthwick should drop Marcus Smith? He's the odd one out, forcing the rest of the English backline into a gameplay they don't know. Replacing him with Fin or Ford makes everyone more likely to succeed.
