A reward of 100,000 R has been offered for "information leading to the recovery of Werner Kok's Blitzbok jerseys," after the South Africa was robbed earlier this week.

Kok shared on social media today the campaign that has been set up, which is in association with Richmark Holdings and SA Rugby Legends association. This comes a day after the 28-year-old Sharks player revealed all his jerseys and achievements during his time with the South Africa Sevens team were stolen earlier this week from a storage facility in Cape Town.

The Olympic Games bronze medalist showed his gratitude for the support he has received in a message today. "Never in my life have I experienced such kindness and generosity," he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to Gavin Varejes, Eduard Coetzee, SA Rugby Legends Association, Sharks Rugby and Richmark Holdings for what you have done for me.

"To every single person who have shared and help spread the word you will never know how much I appreciate it. Truly overwhelmed by all of your support over the past few days!

"If you have any information please email - info@thesharks.co.za."

Kok shared this message on Friday: “I have been dreading making this tweet but I have to get the word out on the 1/12/2021 ALL of my Springbok Sevens jerseys (number 5) were stolen from a storage facility in CPT. 10 years of hard work stolen in 10 min. If you see or hear anything please please let me know.

“Everything is gone all my achievements and special jerseys from Commonwealth to Olympics and every tournament in-between my heart is heavy because no amount of money will ever be able to replace this. A legacy I wanted to show my children, just taken.

“No amount of money can buy this. Please keep sharing and spreading the word!”
