'New Joubert in town': Questions over Telea's match-winning try left unanswered

Scotland fans have been left with a bitter taste after giving up a 23-14 point lead to fall to the All Blacks at Murrayfield.
A historic victory beckoned for the Scots after the side recovered from a 14-0 deficit to score 23 unanswered points but left a host of opportunities out there as numerous turnovers were had attacking the All Blacks line.
Scotland had multiple try scoring opportunities go begging as the All Blacks loose forwards secured holding on penalties at crucial times.
Many Scottish fans felt the turning point was a yellow card for a 'deliberate' knock-on when Australian-convert Jack Dempsey stuck an arm out for an attempted intercept.
Reduced to 14-men, the All Blacks scored two tries while Dempsey was off the park including Mark Telea's second try which many felt deserved a second look from the TMO with questions left unanswered over the put down.
The try was awarded on-field without a second look at Telea's placement, which saw the ball bounce up into his chest area as he dove over.
Scotland fans felt it was necessary to have a second look, writing the put down was 'never in control' and a 'suspect grounding'.
After seeing a replay of the try on the big screen as Jordie Barrett lined up his kick, fans at the ground 'screamed blue murder' according to another fan.

Go to commentsIt is a good argument to keep the Rebels for one more year but also isnt this just opening the door as well for keeping them beyond 2025. If they can create some sort of financial stability in the next year and if their performances lift as they have this season then how would RA even cull them after that? It might be the most cost effective decision at this stage and perhaps many people are guilty of keeping relationships going because of the cost to decouple but then again when does that ever work out well?
