Nicky Thomas returns to Ospreys
By Online Editors
Bristol prop Nicky Thomas has rejoined the Ospreys on a two-year deal from next season.
The former Wales Under-20 international, now 25, had spells at the Ospreys, Dragons, Gloucester and Scarlets before joining Bristol last summer.
“There is unfinished business for me with the Ospreys,” Swansea-born Thomas told the region’s official website.
“It feels like a new era, a new chapter for the Ospreys, it is an exciting time to be returning home.”
The Ospreys, who announced last month that Toby Booth will be taking over as head coach this summer, have already signed Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb and full-back Mat Protheroe for next season.

The article is suggesting that you leave him on for the full 80 even if his performance dips because he's the leader. Then you just have a flanker who can cover 2 if he gets injured.
Personally, I don't like the idea much.
