A positive going in this series could get a generation of kids back into what should be their national sport.

The wallabies have been degraded since this tour was confirmed. I hope that added motivation is the extra 5% that gets them over the line and wins this series.

It's to Farrell's absolute credit that he took them up a level. He's a likeable, forward thinking and capable guy but Joe achieved as much with what was a lesser squad across his time. He has a wicked sharp rugby IQ. Their 2018 form, for me, eclipses their 2022/23 run and it’s all on Joe. He played to their limitations rather than their strengths.

The swashbuckling return of the Oz attacking play in SR is misdirection. Their forwards were the business and well reflected in the team of the season.

I think they will suprise many in the series. The upcoming home RWC isn't a pressure but an added positive motivation. Their journey begins now and I really think they'll turn up for these games.
