Owen Farrell involved in pre-match scuffle with Scottish players - reports
If fans wanted an indication of the edge involved in today's Calcutta Cup match in Edinburgh, they need not have looked further then the pre-match warm up.
The BBC's John Inverdale reported that a scuffle broke out as both teams were leaving the field immediately after the warm-ups in the tunnel in Murrayfield.
According to Inverdale's account Owen Farrell and number of Scottish players had to be pulled apart as they left the field just minutes before kick off.
The incident didn't appear to fluster Farrell on the pitch, with the England centre kicking two from two in the opening minutes.
Eddie Jones this week said that Farrell was “full of beans” ahead of England’s Six Nations clash against Scotland, despite the Saracens player having missed spells of training.
“He’s jumping out of his skin. He wanted to train on Monday, I kept him back; he wanted to train on Tuesday, so we kept him back. He’s full of beans.”
The tunnel scuffle wasn't the first acrimony of the day, with the England team being roundly booed when they exited their bus on entry to the stadium.

Yeah right.
Go to comments5min - I'm getting sick of the on field ref being overruled. He clearly sees the drop and rules no knock on but changes his call when the touchie pipes up from miles away. get out of here!
