Paddy McAllister free to play after citing complaint is dismissed

Connacht’s Paddy McAllister is free to continue playing after a New Year’s Eve disciplinary hearing via video conference dismissed a citing complaint.
The prop found himself in trouble for a 22nd minute incident with Ulster’s Marcell Coetzee in last Friday's Guinness PRO14 derby in Belfast.
After reviewing video clips and reports, and also hearing explanations from the player, the disciplinary hearing committee comprising of Owain Rhys James (chair, Wales), Robert Milligan and Jennifer Rae (both Scotland) decided the incident was accidental, that foul play had not occurred and the citing should not be upheld.
McAllister had been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle under Law 9.13 – a player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously.
He is now cleared and available for selection for Connacht’s trip next Saturday to face table-topping Leinster in Dublin.

Amazing. The losing team’s ratings are higher than the winning team’s. Mallia definitely didn’t deserve a y. What game were you watching? Should have got a w or an x. ADP hardly featured in that second half. At one point I wondered when he’d been subbed. Seems to me as if he gets an automatic 9 just for getting onto the team sheet.
