Poppy Cleall hat-trick inspires England to thumping Wales win
A hat-trick from Poppy Cleall saw England make it four wins from as many Women’s Six Nations matches in a dominant 66-7 victory over Wales, putting them on the brink of claiming the Grand Slam.
Cleall took control of proceedings with two tries in the opening eleven minutes before crossing for a third in the second half, with captain Emily Scarratt duly converting all three.
Katy Daley-McLean and Vicky Fleetwood also contributed to the runaway victory, with the latter’s 38th-minute effort securing a bonus point in what became a ten-try triumph.
Harriet Millar-Mills touched down shortly after the break, before Amy Cokayne marked her 50th international appearance with a try of her own.
Wales were offered respite only by a 62nd-minute penalty try, after which Zoe Aldcroft, Hannah Botterman and Sarah McKenna produced a further three tries to cap a convincing win for England who lead France by eight points at the summit having played a game more.

Also looking forward to David Havili at 10. David is a class act, it also allows Dallas McLeod to remain at 12. A good thing.
