Premiership-bound Jack Stanley leaves Edinburgh with immediate effect
Gloucester have added to their front row resources with the signing of tighthead prop Jack Stanley from Edinburgh with immediate effect.
Stanley is a former England U20s cap who was previously a member of the Exeter Chiefs academy before moving on to Edinburgh ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The 23-year-old arrived in Gloucester on Monday and joined his new team-mates for training the following day.
Director of rugby David Humphreys admitted that he was happy to have an extra option in the front row going forward.
"It’s been well documented that we have had some injuries in the front row this season, especially at tighthead with Ruan Dreyer and Jamal Ford-Robinson both ruled out at times.

"As a young English tighthead, Jack will give us some strength in depth at prop for the rest of this season but, more importantly, for the long-term future.
"He’s still a very young player who has worked with Peter Walton in the past, and we are all looking forward to seeing Jack fulfil his potential at Gloucester.”
