Pumas wing to make Glasgow debut against Zebre
Argentina international Sebastian Cancelliere will make his Glasgow debut against Zebre today as part of a new-look back line.
The 28-year-old summer signing’s arrival in Scotland was delayed by the Rugby Championship but he will line up on the right wing in Parma.
Half-backs Duncan Weir and George Horne both return to the starting line-up along with centre Sione Tuipulotu, while Oli Kebble returns from injury and Johnny Matthews is promoted from the bench in the front row.
Head coach Danny Wilson told glasgowwarriors.org: “In Parma we get the first chance to look at Sebastian and a new centre partnership of Sione and Nick (Grigg).
“We’re also looking forward (to) welcoming Oli Kebble back into the fold, he’s a strong powerful prop who we’re expecting to make an impact in our set piece.
“Zebre at home are a formidable side and we cannot afford to underestimate them. They’ve got dangerous players in attack that can hurt you from anywhere.”

I reckon it may be Jordan at 10 and Nohamba at 9, both players have played together alot and both have been on the Radar for a long time. After Pollard got injured in 2022 with Elton sidelined on a path of self destruction Erasmus and Nienaber indicated that the other options in the country at the time were thin but that Jordan and Manie were the 2 they were looking at. In the end Frans steyn played flyhalf, Willemse slotted in there on the end of year with Libbok as back up. Jordan was right there in the thinking back then so expect him to take the Jersey either as the starter.
